Have been waiting for our super fast broadband router which did not arrive. So, even though that didn't arrive we were cut off for a while. Both of us had a dreadful bout of gastro enteritis last week so couldn't get to my breathe easy meeting but couldn't get in touch with anyone as no internet or telephone! No mobile signal here until the new mast was put into service the day after the missed meeting! Thankfully we don't get a television package with our ISP so I could sit and watch cwap on TVs whilst poorly. Has, yet again taken me 3 weeks to get a month's supply of Itraconazole tablets - so by the time I get a month's supply it is time to put my repeat prescription in again! Have asked for Doc to make it a 3 month supply and to be able to put my repeat prescription in at the end of 2 months. Had some lovely weather here but have missed it because of being poorly and today when we had planned to go out is dark and damp. Yuk. Oh and by the way although we are now getting super fast broadband (supposedly) we are not getting what we paid for as hardly any faster than before! They are looking into that and giving us a couple of months free because of all the mix up and slow speed. So not all bad.
Looking forward to some good weather next week. Hope the sun is shining on a lot of you today.

How awful for you Sian, being ill and no connection to the outside world is not nice. Hope you are both feeling lots better now and enjoying the broadband, fast or not.
Fingers crossed for nice weather. It has been beautiful here on the South coast today. Lots of love, Carole xxxx
Thanks. Glad to hear you are having good weather. They say it is going to get better here tomorrow. At least I didn't have to water the baskets and pots tonight.
Hi, glad you're feeling a little better. I find the "super fast" amusing, after lots of issues with Virgin I thought about Sky. Saw the chaps in the retail centre and asked them how fat it really was, "oh, up to 40Mb" they said. I replied, "No, how fast is the SUPER fast?", "40Mb" , he replied again.
"Is that it then, just 40Mb?" I commented. "Well, how fast did you want it?" he questioned. "Well, my consistent 103Mb is okay but I just thought the SUPER fast would be quicker than that!" "Oh, you must be with Virgin" he shrugged.
They sent me a letter last week telling me that, at no extra cost, they are increasing the speed to 150Mb ... reading this post reminds me how lucky I am!
