Feeling Very Worried

Today I've been having minor pains on the left side of my chest underneath my arm directly on my ribs. What can it be and should I be worried??

Make an emergency appointment to see your GP ASAP tomorrow morning if I were you.  Whatever it is it needs checking on.  If it gets worse call the Doc out or go to A&E.  Hope you are OK.

I would definitely not take that type of pain lightly. I would seek medical attention.

Oh yeah. Get to your GP. Could be a Pulmonary Embolism !!!!!!!!!!

I had something similar a few months ago and phoned 111 for advice.  They were very helpful and reassured me that nothing serious was wrong, but suggested a GP appointment or visit to the local walk-in centre if I was still worried.  I think I'd pulled the muscles which sit between and over the ribs

I agree with the others above that you should get this checked out - it may well be nothing but better to be sure.

Afternoon.

I get pain when I've got an infection or one coming, the last doctor I see at the hospital said its the inflammation. Get an appointment with your GP if it gets worse, or you develop other symptoms go to A&E.
