They do indeed mmzetor,,,,the years go by far toooo fast. , one thing good is ,,,,today she said just think nanny in 4 years time ,,,,I'll be diving over to take you out for lunch and a bit of shopping ,,,,,,,,scary ,,, ,,,,but another milestone to work at being around for ,haha,,,,

will be a proud day for you to see her pass her test , hope she is saving up the her money our youngest is now having lessons afraid he has failed twice £ 19 ,00 an hour for lessons and £100.00 on test day , he was given a corsa car will be £1600.00 for insurance when he pass test ,

Oh my ,,,,,how prices have changed since we paid for our daughter to learn to drive,,,,,she did save up her own money to buy her own car ,,,it was an old black mini but she loved it ,,,,she used to go to the scrap yard every week for a light a etc in fact what ever she needed they got that used to her they let her climb over everywhere browsing ,,,haha. then they took pity on her ,and if anything came in they'd save it for her ,,,(,a bit of a Tom boy she was) ,,,we paid for tax and insurance for her ,,,,she looked after that car better than all the other cars she's had over the years,

it's going to be an expensive time ahead ,,,,I'd better start saving now,

oh yes the first car you get can be a complete old banger but how proud you feel when you get it, then you start to realise that its not just putting petrol in that cost you with a car its all the other bits too , do you have any other grandchildren

Sadly not mmzetor,,,,I wanted more children but my daughter was an only child ,,,,,and our daughter wanted more but it wasn't possible ,,,,,we waited a long time for a grandchild ,,,,,well worth the wait ,,,,,

Perhaps it's a good job ,,,,,,car wise etc haha,,,,

Thankyou ,she had a lovely day ,,,,,she's had a bit of a tough time since attending high school ,,,,,friends,,,, that turned out not to be friends,,,etc etc ,but she has managed to separate herself from them and made some lovely new friends ,so proud of her ,,,,,teenage grandchildren eh ,,,,, hope all grand children's wishes and dreams are fulfilled,

lovely pictures, I too have a granddaughter who is 13, she is so lovely and thoughtful and I love her to bits, along with my grandson who is 10 years old, I look after them on Tuesdays after school and they are a real joy. Chris x

Hi,Tuesday's is our day to ,,,for Lois' first 8 years we looked after her ,,,,taking her to school etc homework ,and of course the fun of those days,,,,only having one child our daughter and son in law ,wanted better schools when it was time for her to attend high school ,so rather than leave it until the time ,,,,they moved when she was 8 giving her time to make new friends at a new school that would move with her to high school,,I was so upset at the time ,,,,,but it didn't take long for me to realise how right they were,,,,,,not only for Lois ,,but for me to as my health started to deteriorate and I got more and more chest infections ,,,,,,so now we face time each other ,sometimes just to say goodnight ,,,,other times to tell me about her day ,,,,and of course like you ,,,Tuesday's are the day of week we look forward to most of all ,

Your very lucky having 2 grandchildren and a boy and girl to spoil ,

Thankyou ,she is truly lovely and so caring ,,,,when I'm out with my daughter and Lois ,,,,,Lois is the one that says Slow down mummy ,,,nanny's not as quick as us ,,,haha it makes me laugh. ,,,,,,then one day we were out after I'd been poorly ,,,,and she saw the mobility chairs,,,,,? And said shall we get one for you nanny to help you ,,,,,I said I don't think I'm ready for that just yet ,,,,but now I think I'm getting closer each day ,

Her dog is a cocker spaniel ,,,she's 11 ,,,her name is Beau ,,,,,named because

When she saw all the puppies ,,she walked over to her and said

Bow wow,,,,hence Beau ,,,and Beau can get into everything including the fridge ,,,,don't know how ,,,but she can ,,,,and she always wants to see what's in the bags ,,,haha,

I have every faith that her caring personality will stay with her throughout her life,,,,

Your very kind ,and yes Besu is adorable ,,,,,but not when she's managed to open the fridge and eat virtually everything inside haha,,,,even a garlic bulb,,,

Argh! that will keep the demons away! So funny - and so naughty at the same time. I saw a programme on the tv recently about a lady who re-trains dogs with help from their owners. This lovely black shiny coated cross labrador/whippet could not settle when her owners were out. Cameras were set up. Amongst other things - she/he used to go and open the fridge and take stuff - so the dog lady stuck a little alarm on the side of the fridge which made a noise like a car alarm if the door was opened, and when the couple went out they had to set it to "on".

The first time it happened was absolutely hilarious - the dog shot back into the living room onto the settee. It worked! I think Beau is a bit too old now to retrain, and there is a probably well rehearsed routine going on regarding food in the fridge being removed if she has to be left.

Snap ,I like a ramble /chatting every now and then ,,,keeps the old brain matter in use,,,,I think they've given up Beau now ,, but she's quiet ended down as she's got older ,and she's so lovely and she's been so good for Lois being an only child ,,,,nice chatting to you Jennifer,x
