Just thinking today that a lot of old friends have disappeared or just not joining in. It is an excellent forum for advising those with problems which is what it is intended. But the lighter, social side has in some part disappeared. X

Probably because people worry that if someone writes a single word out of line, it is not on the subject of living with breathing difficulties there is bound to be one person who will take offence and that will mean an immediate disconnection. Rib

Careful now, Rib! I got jumped on several times for suggesting exactly that. (Ducking now)

Good luck!

Hi Rib...I do know what your saying. ..but I don't think it's as bad as that.

I've had more posts and replys deleted then I think anyone else on the forum...and even though I didn't agree with them all..I still feel thats its a much better place now then it what it use to be......that's my view anyway.

Andy.

I agree with Rib, it is hard to know what to say, bearing in mind, one must not say anything that might offend somebody somewhere. I have had some posts edited for no good reason, so far as I was concerned. But of course, the British sense of humour is all to often, incomprehensible to many. Australians understand it and some Americans, depending what part they live in. Nevertheless, it is all to easy to end up upsetting somebody. I am hesitant about posting photos of George now.

I'm new to the site and maybe that's part of the "problem". I've only been here a few weeks and there have been lots of new folks since then. We are still finding our way round and have yet to get to know you as "friends". Hopefully you'll bear with us until we find our feet and we get to know each other better. I look forward to it. :) x

Welcome Diesel, I wasn't around much for a few weeks. Health reasons and family issues but I am back now. You will soon settle in.

Hi nice to think about old friends on this site, so many have them don't post anymore. I have been thinking of Wens a lot lately, think I will send her a PM.

I don't post much now there seems to be a lot of quick humorous banter which I love reading but am a bit slow in responding, by the time I think of a witty answer there have been half a dozen more.

take care everyone

polly xx
