Must of been almost a week feeling a bit better

Only to be told today the infection is still with me,,,,,so it's back on the anti sickness pills so I can take the antibiotics again ,,,,,

Thats hard...feel for you. Im trying to work out if the horrible burning squeezing pain iv had all eve is the oral thrush spread into my oesophagus...or just my ribs crushing my lungs or what. I hate copd. I hate abs and steroids side effects....but i need them. Iv got hair appt tmrw and car journey sat from here, south coast to london...as a passenger..its my youngest grandchild 1st birthday party. Wont see doc tmrw in case it stops me going...i'll go monday, hope you sleep well. Night night.

Sounds like your like me ,I would do the same and keep everything crossed for a successful weekend celebrating your grandchild a 1st birthday ,, I wouldn't want to miss it either ,,,but make sure you see your GP on your return home ,,,, if needed,,,

As part of my 70 th birthday present My daughter treated me to a spa day at hoar cross hall ,,,,we go next Thursday ,,,,,,it will be a nice relaxing day ,,,and the jacuzzi on my back ,,,,,I can feel the relief now ,,,,so hopefully a nice facial will complete our

day ( if I can lie down that long ,,,,,doubtful at moment ) ,,,,sending you a hug ,,,,,but not a sqished one ,,,, don't want to hurt you ,

I empathise with you, lost count of how many steroids and antibiotics I've had since October. Not the right thing to say, I know,but it comforting to know it's not just me. Knowing it's happening to many people on here must mean that there are some stubborn bugs going about. I hope you feel much better soon.
