Sleepless!

I've decided I can't take another night like the last 4 so have taken half a tablet of Lorezapan, I know it is for anxiety but really need sleep. Will finish my hot chocolate and try and turn in. Watch this space, will probably be back about 2.00.

Hope the bed bugs don't bite!

Hi when I know I'm not going to get a good nights sleep I take a valerian tablet, it's a natural and it helps with the twitches and fidgets, anyway give it a try, nothing worse than not being able to sleep. X.

I think that's a good idea, I do it sometimes with diazepam, just relaxes me enough to drift off. I'll put up with 2 really bad nights but a 3rd is just too much& I start getting anxious about sleep. Some swear by natural remedies but they don't work for me. Sweet dreams!

Natural remedies don't work for me either. Tried rescue remedy, varlerian and kalms, nothing works as well as the Lorazepam.

Take care

Insomnia is vile. Ive even seen the entire night through with not a wink. Ive been on Lorazepam since 2003. Mad but cant get off it. 2 mgs a day. Also on Dosulepin. Only one that ever worked on me. Has quite scary risks, but without it, the fear is indescribable. So I need prescription drugs. So what. Better than all the overdoses. Iv been trying my 150 of dosulepin.together at night, insted of a split dose. Worked well last nigjt. Tonight I cant switch off

Just discovered today my chest probs copd.

Chocolate is a stimulant, try hot milk instead.

Thought I was doing the right thing! Can I put honey in it as hot milk alone tastes vile?

Try half an Avil tablet. It is an antihistamine and can make you a little drowsy. Get yourself into a Tai chi class and do it daily. Watch Lee Holden's Qi Gong videos on youtube...very helpful. Hope this helps.

Oh you poor thing, sleeplessness is not very nice is it?

Although please do watch the Lorazepam for 1. Building a tolerance to it and then having to increase the dose, and 2. It is very addictive......

There are a number of things you can try, eg, sleep hygiene, breathing techniques, white noise app,

Hope you sleep better tonight.

Warm wishes,

Polly

Hi

I have severe COPD and am on 1 litre of oxygen. I also suffer with insomnia and sometimes took sleeping pills. However, I was recently prescribed Lorazepam 1mg, half at night. Have done so for 3 nights and I actually slept. Zopiclone used to make me feel sluggish the next day but I not the Lorazepam.

Hope you sleep improves.
