I have just started to read that book. How your COPD affects you is up to how you deal with it. I won't let mine stop me from doing the things I did before. Only do things at a slower pace.

Miss being able to have lots of people over for Sunday lunch, still do it sometimes but I am usually shattered by 4pm and want to get my jammies on and cuddle up with my kindle. So these days do a minimum amount of prep, cooking etc. and don't make homemade pud's or cakes anymore.

Nobody complains - full stop.

Still have them over and let them do the cooking that's what I do. And do what you can I hate having to say I can't do that you can do what ever you put your mind to just slower take care
