Hi Velvet Mr M seems to have gone in to hiding no sign of him but I'm sure he will be along soon with some comment or other think I will go for a wee as he does make me laugh
Think he might be too tired after his day out - expect he'll 'comment' tomorrow.

Thank you Ruby the decoration I have had for years the teddy bears are from Wilkinson's in the sale one year they were 75 pence each.

Beautifully colour co ordinated, and your room looks nice too....there have been some lovely trees and houses posted here this Christmas. I would like to give mine a makeover as it seems to be filled with other people's furniture...not at all calming or easy to clean.
Thank you knitter the tree decorations are years old you can still buy most of them and I brought most of them in the sale. The living room is very simple just a couple of sofas, side tables and a coffee table oh and a rather large TV that was the old mans input and a coal fire which is very nice in winter the cats love it
Absolutely lovely Onamission. must have taken ages to decorate? Do you know why we have a fairy/angel on top of the tree?........A long time ago Santa had a fairy helping him, and at each house he'd deliver the presents and she'd leave a tree. After they'd finished there was one tree left over and the fairy asked Santa what she should do with it? Being angry with her for obviously missing a house .......he told her! Lol 
Hi Nikkers the tree is a pre- lit one so its not so bad it is heavy comes in 3 pieces the top piece being as big as Mr M's lol have a good christmas
well it looks lovely blends in well with your feature wall big thumbs up to mr o for his hard work decorating it , seriously do be careful with the fire and the tree so close together I take it that's a proper open fire seeing as the fire irons are there and fire guard , love that fire place ,
Why thank you Mr M my fire place is sand stone would you believe it worked out less than a fire and surround from B&Q when we had the dogs they loved it both on the rug and the cats would get on the hearth.
My tree this is the small one when we moved in the bungalow we had to down size and don't forget by the time the cats had run up it and round it many times knocked off all the decorations it looked like a Woolworths toilet brush, I did manage to save all the decorations so they are the same.
The decorating of the tree is all my work all Mr O did was put it up sat on the sofa with a can in front of his man size tv but did not moan as this is a pre- lit tree so no having to fix the lights just plug in the tree.
As you are not well I will be posting another picture for you this evening the thought of Velvet feeling sorry for you with your man flu is to much to bear so pleased you had a good day we all missed you and glad you are back with us.

my old lab use to love the fire he would lay on the rug and you could feel the heat on his back but he still chose to lay there even with a sparky bit of wood on the fire one night a bit flew off onto his back we was panicking getting it of him he looks up at us like whats all the fuss about your woke me up ,
