Nothing to worry about. Thats great! Are you sure you even have copd? You must feel pretty good. We would all love to have those numbers! Just try to stay active and take care of yourself. You don't use inhalers do you?

I was diagnosed after a routine work medical, im very active and don't feel like I have anything wrong with me but my Mum died of it last year so it does niggle away when I see it slipping down each year...just having a wobble I think, thanks for your reply.

Well I certainly wouldn't worry, those figures are brilliant.

If it's any consolation mine is only 20% but there is still a lot I can do. We can survive with just 6%, so in your case I'm sure old age will get you first!

Respiratory technicians will tell you that the machines are accurate to about 5% either way. So it may mean nothing at all and anyway as others have said, those figures are amazing :)

Estimate your average FEV1 decline at about 65 ml/year.

Average age-related decline for non-smoker is about 35 ml/year.

I wouldn't worry with those figures , plus it varies from day to day and at different times 1% is nothing it could be up 2% tomorrow ,
