Hi Parvati

Good on yer. Excellent piece and good for you for being so proactive. I don't have copd but found your piece very intereting, especially enlghtening was the fact young women in Egypt and India are developing this condition from cooking. Goodness me. Good job - relax a bit now your back.

Hi cofdrop - thought it might interest you to know that towards the end of the summit when we were proposing and taking votes on issues, we took a vote on including Bronchiectasis in future summits alongside the Emphysema/Bronchitis - the reason for this was because some countries do include it under the COPD banner, and also many people with COPD - including a high percentage with Alpha1(genetic) COPD - do develop Bronchiectasis too. You will be pleased to know that it was a unaminous vote for Bronchiectasis ;)

Thank you Parvati for letting us know about the bronchiectasis vote and that some countries are already including it under the COPD umbrella. Small steps forward but I feel that we are slowly moving. With the help of our COPD sisters and brothers I must say.

Hi V, Bravo.

you are an absolute marvel to do this for humanity.

Knowing the energy it costs you to travel so far on oxygen I am humbled by your generosity of spirit.

I take note of your words "understanding differences". Something we all need to do

ps did you really do the great north run? How could I have missed that? I must look in to your blog more often - ooo and Le Train Bleu looks fantastic. A fitting reward. 🎉

Hello parvati. Thank you, I found your blog very interesting, and am very pleased bronchiectasis will be included next year. That restaurant certainly is magnificent. N
