We've often spoken on here about how air pollution can affect your health. It's something the BLF really cares about and we want to make change happen. The government has the chance to do something about it and we want to make sure they make the right choices for our lungs.
We want you to have the chance to be heard. Take just a few minutes to tell us what you think through this survey.

Councils are bad with the traffic lights phasing they do to cause congestion then that ends up producing pollution but the don't stop there ... They turn two lane roads in single road with inappropriate position of bike lanes those causing congestion and pollution in places the was none before
We have all seen those rank houses that are black with all fumes and sut SO in my opinion councils and what they do with actively causing congestion then pollution are just as bad as any industry
Congestion and inappropriate road management is number one cause of inner-city pollution
The sleeping policemen in the roads around the schools where I live, make people slow down and then speed up because they are so high and awkward. This generates more pollution than if they were designed to be a bit smoother - then they would slow the traffic down without the need to drop to 10 mph to go over the bumps to avoid breaking the springs on your car suspension.
Thank you to everyone who has filled in the survey so far. There is still time to take part and share with your friends. Let us know your thoughts. Thank you! Teresa x
Air pollution is enhanced from October to January by the use of excessive amounts of fireworks ... when working in my upstairs office I like to keep the window open to allow some fresh air in but ive had to shut it recently due to the smell of burnt fireworks making me cough .... why cant these be banned unless they are at an organised display and then we wont have them every evening ... also people starting their cars up and going back in doors while the car warms up (this should not be allowed either) I do have a car but only use it when absolutely necessary if I can walk or cycle (when my lungs let me) then I will. As for the Bee's if they are being poisoned by chemicals then so are we without the bee's there will be no food no farmers no work no people so lets sort out air and chemical pollution sooner rather than later before it is too late to do anything.
It's not just air pollution that is a major health concern , it's our oceans , climate change, fracking damage, nuclear energy waste.
This government needs to get its finger out, last year Europe fined us millions for being way over the limit on air pollution and it will be the same this year probably.
