Sorry, I do not know anything but I am sure somebody will get back to you Kaye x

Hi,you could try leaving a personal message to " dall05 ", I think if you look at his messages, it would appear he was in touch. Mike.

Yes I remember dall05, tony, saying he was in touch with Michelle, ask him. Meanwhile how are YOU doing Elaine? Robin

Hi Robin

Thanks for asking, unfortunately I haven't been keeping too well and I'm finding it a little tough right now too see any light at the end of the tunnel. A recent X-ray confirmed the disease shows no signs of abating and has progressed even further in the last couple of months. My assessment results are at Freeman now but I'm still waiting to hear anything from them.

I just get so upset when I think about the life that's been stolen from me in only a few short months.

Sorry I don't have anything positive to say xx

I'm so sorry. Can't imagine your sadness. Anger too. Please don't give up hope. We cannot know what's round the corner and sometimes things can turn round even when it seems hopeless. Can someone get in touch with Freeman for you and tell them to get a bloody move on? R

My GP called , I sent an email pretty much begging for my life and I believe a further letter is being sent regarding Monday's xray but I know I have no more right to life than anyone else and just have to wait my turn. Tears just keep falling, the emotional pain is far greater than the physical.

I don't mean to be negative or upset anyone & it's the main reason I haven't posted lately.

You can let all your feelings out here Michelle, there's no need to be brave dear girl, we're here for you whatever state you're in! I get what you say about others having a right to life but if your illness is very aggressive you should get priority surely. Can you gird your loins & phone the Freeman person yourself, I know it's hard & you've got no energy but don't be too polite & reasonable, they need to know how bad things are, make sure the message is getting through. Meanwhile stay with us, the chat probably seems trivial at times but might be a distraction. And moan, rant about the unfairness, we're here to listen. If/when you go in please take your iPad and keep in touch. Robin

You always leave such lovely messages, thank you.

Did you see the message saying how well Michelle is doing and that she's going back to work soon? How absolutely amazing and real dream come true stuff!

I will try my best to stay more focussed (she says with tears rolling down her face) 😊

Hi Elaine ! I was just scrolling through replies to another thread here and the subject of Michelle came up. Apparently she's doing wonderfully well and is going back to work this month.

Wow! That's amazing! I'd love to be able to chat to her but realise she will of course be super busy catching up on life. I'm having a bit of a hard time at the moment, the tears just won't stop. Thanks for letting me know about Michelle.

I know you're having a hard time Elaine and I send you every good wish that I can think of. My lungs are very troublesome but I've had the problem for a long time and have managed to get used to it. For you, to become so ill in such a short time, well it's heartbreaking and quite apart from anything else, such a shock. I'm sure you're still in shock, anger and disbelief. Don't give up on making your doctors leave no stone unturned and don't give up on yourself either. Where there's life there's hope and as others with similiar problems told you on another thread, they are still here despite the prognosis they got. Let us know if there are any developments, we are all in your corner.
