How long before prednisone leaves system?

Hi all, just finished a five day course of Prednisone and even though it's only been a short course I've felt terrible. I'm prone to anxiety and it's made me edgy and low.

Does anyone know how long it'll take to get out of my system and if there's anything I can do to help the process?
