A Bed Backrest

Ordered the blue backrest and pillow and cover. The 5 star rating said very easy to use but you need a board behind it or sit on a towel so it doesn`t slip. Maybe i can breath without sitting up all night. If it works maybe someone else will want it.

You can have the wall behind it as well. I have used a back rest for years on various different bed. Currently it is up against the wall. I personally find I start off sat up against it but slidden down it by morning.

I have mine propped up against the wall for the same reason. I can't lie down without getting bile reflux since my op and I thought it might help but it hasn't. I just kept slipping down and I daren't risk getting bile in my lungs.

hi patty im same cant breath lay flat, I tried extra pillows and everything nothing worked. then I got an assessment from occupational therapy, and I got an elevator thing that goes under mattress and you raise it to how you feel comfortable. if you haven't seen an occupational therapist ask your gp.

I use an adjustable bed & it makes such a difference to comfort and breathing when unwell.

I am lucky that I have a headboard so my bed rest is propped up to that.

I have treated my self to an electric adjustable bed - only £625 and 5 year guarantee from a company that usually does chairs and it is fantastic can raise my chest and my feet and with the memory foam feel I am being cradled - would thoroughly recommend - good luck with you board - take care xx
