Going on holiday with copd?

I am a carer for my husband who was diagnosed 12 years with copd.

We live in Ayrshire and he finds the winter v difficult.

We would love to go for a few weeks to a European country in the Winter months but are unsure about flying, medical insurance cover etc

Would love to get some advice.

Irene

Hi Irene,

If you want to call me 03000 030 555, I'm happy to discuss going on holiday with you. We also have details of travel insurance companies and information about flying, using oxygen and airline oxygen policies.

Best regards,

Biddy

Thanks for your info jimmyg23-my husband doesn't need oxygen yet on a daily basis. We haven't been abroad for a few years and are apprehensive about everything!

Thanks Irene you will be fine if he does not need oxygen and your insurance should not be dear I used to use my royalty gold account for my insurance which was only 80 pounds yearly if the doctor say he is fit to fly you will be fine so please go enjoy a holiday I think the both earn it by the whereabouts in Ayrshire do you live if you don't mind me asking I would like to keep in touch if okay
