Thanks hufferpuffer there are 4 statues in all ,and a memorial plaque with names of the miners who were killed in our local pit .it was an awesome ceremony.

Same as my hubby ,he was very emotional at the opening ceremony ,like many towns ours suffered greatly when the pit closed ( Maggie had a lot to answer for ) ,,,we are hoping that this will bring some pride back to our community ,4 statues in al ,plus a

Plynth with the names of every miner who lost their life in our pit Lea hall colliery ,
