Hi everyone, finally able to see had cataract done, waiting to have the other eye sorted! Been lurking in the background though, I have really missed not taking an active part of this wonderful family, so look out! Love to you all xx

Congratulations Sheilab, please everything has gone well for you, to think that cateracts were a major mile stone not so many years ago, so many in the world suffer blindness with these. take care Neo.

Congrats on the cataract being done sheila. Had one of mine done 4 weeks ago, what a difference. Im a bit worried I won't get my other done because the optician reckons they can still make a lens good enough for the eye. But I know what you mean about being able to see.

Hi Jude, it certainly makes a difference, can you not push to have the other one done? I was told not to go to optician but use ready specs until the other one is done, I know it varies from place to place, but worth asking. xx
