Good morning folks, I have been seeing this strange old woman for quite a while now, and she is not welcome, so I now look in the mirror with my glasses off, then I see me albeit a tad blurred xx

I have the same problem Nikkers. Reminds me of this poem I wrote a few years back:
Stranger In The Mirror
Who is she; that stranger in the mirror?
I watch her while she combs her hair
and as she does, she seems to stare;
so I pretend I just don't care -
I wish she'd go away!
Who is she; that stranger in the mirror?
We both sit here and sip our tea;
I'm sure she knows that I can see
she always dresses just like me -
when will she go away?
Who is she; that stranger in the mirror?
Although it seems she's feeling fine,
her hands are shaking just like mine.
Perhaps she's taken too much wine -
why won't she go away?
Who is she; that stranger in the mirror?
I often wish that she was dead
but still she sits and nods her head;
so I'll get up and go to bed -
that made her go away!

Yea I've got a mirror like that nikkers, although I've found looking at the tv round about 6 o'clock I can see my self perfectly well, it's just that the tele keeps saying my name is riz lateeth !

I think medow might be meaning Riz Lateef, who is a female BBC newsreader in the London area, and possibly others too, medow was mentioning looking at the TV at 6 pm which made me think of that.

I have her too, and I have been known to scream in fright at the apparition that confronts me, especially having to pass the mirror in the middle of the night, Hep!
She is ever present and never seems to take a day off, lol
She also seems to take pleasure in reminding me that although my mind thinks it is in its thirties, my body says, " Oh yeah!". ha ha ha

Really Nikkers! Now I am just throwing this out there, I think that you need a new mirror! The one you have is,well you know, playing with you! Like one of those fun house mirrors! Throw it away, out, smash it, maybe give to someone who you can't stand!! But do it now, and do it fast. You want to get that bad juju out, lol! I have that problem with the scales. I stand on it and it tells me I am to short for my weight? But I have been near the same height all my life until recently? 
Oh Nikkers, I have exactly the same problem. I always used to think it was previously an unknown much older sister but, now that I've had cataract surgery on both eyes, I can see that it's definitely my mother lol. 😋😋

Love the poem PG. I always looked good until I had my dreadful eyesight (Myopia) lasered away in 2005. I began seeing this old lady then with bags under her eyes and wrinkles. Do you think they stuck a voodoo curse on me at the same time? x

It might be a different old bag delilah. They could have set up a secret society to go round scaring lovely people like us.

I don't have a mirror I can peer in very easily. .I don't have a problem! One of the be benefits being in a wheelchair everything is too high! !!! Mind u I think I would break one if I did 😀
