hi warwichstag, my point being is in generations to follow the children what have attended asbestos riddled schools will r could have asbestos and it wont come out till I you many parents have died long ago, that's why the cull now on taking them down and replaceing them with new acedemys,, but the damage will have been done if any child has come innocently in contact with deadly asbestos it will tell years down the line, as my peers have taught me you need to no were you contacted it from in the first place, if theres no documentation of it in schools or other places theres no proof, now the bill as amended that, but theres loopholes as in any and if we think for one minute we can trust governments pasted and present well we can not, nor soliciters for that matter, many teachers have died from the deadly asbestos meso, plus many others have as well, asbestos is everywere as many governments and councils workplaces have known for decades about it, to cut through red tape is one long haul of being led blindly by the ones you have hired to act in good faith for you in any legal battle to find out were the asbestos was from, its a mine field of red tape, in future generations I hope its improved imenssly for them what have to battle for recognition of were it came from, but there will be many deaths in years to come, its a ticking time bomb, you could say ok we will pull all England down and rebuild it, but the asbestos will still be in whoever as come into contact with it ,other countries are going through the same battle its world wide , many have been prosecuted abroad for knowing and ignoring it, dumping it willy nilly like an old shoe in fields anywere, using it in workplaces and refusing to have it removed hence court action but then is to late if you have got a bit of dust spark ,which in time will explode and wake up ,the dust from asbestos carrys many miles anywere in the wind it travels so deadly so cant see it that's why it costs thousands to get it removed safely, but employees over the years have played the high and mighty and ignored it, if its not disturbed its harmless they will say over time, well all good and well there but how can they no when there dumping it illegally, why, cause they no the dangers full well and just choose to ignore them , its like well its not me so im not bothered, attitudes like that stink and who nos years to come those same bosses there kid gets the dx of asbestos meso ,or any other lung condition related to asbestos. to watch anyone slowly die with meso is gut wrenching , that person is a human being like we all are on hear, whatever condition we have , first and foremost were human and we should be treated with dignity, respect , not with contempt by the greedy sods who over time have systemically ignored the dangers of asbestos , and past governments what have side steped it like something on there shoes,

I wasn't dismissing the statistical reports or denying a real problem exists, it just wasn't clear from your posting what you were saying. Now I get it and agree with your sentiments
