Hi Guys

I've been missing for a while, working full time etc. but now I got fired I have more time.

So whilst surfing the net this morning I came across the article below - I would love to hear what you think. If you think you would like to buy on hang on a short while because I ordered 2 and they should be delivered tomorrow. I will let you know what I think - I think we could all do with being more energised (without the steroids Cough!)

ph9europe.com/

I want a bargain so if anyone wanted one maybe we could arrange a discount, with a code, with the supplier?

Looking forward to your comments

Medical approved in South Korea

Advice from your GP

Too much O2 can be just as bad as too little.

Hi Sokrackers, its good to see you back, sounds like you've had a right barrel of laughs! I do hope you're enjoying your forced 'retirement' and life treats you well, its great to have more time!

I'm not too sure about the product you are planning on...I'll just stick to my oxygen I think, luckily for me I have my own water supply and its good.

Best advise to achieve more energy is walk every day, or just keep moving about and drink plenty of water that's not got anything in it ( I've got a lot of Manganese in my water source ) but have U.V. and filters. Water is vital for well being, cell regeneration etc., )

Hopefully, someone might like to try this product....just out of curiosity was it very expensive?

Enjoy your freedom, what are you planning to do with all this extra time ? :) huff xxxx

Hi itBAme & Huffer

Did you read the quote from the Author of Cancer Cure?

I know some people have considered or tried H202 treatment which is not for me. I've got apt with GP tomorrow so will ask his advice.

Prices vary I paid £18.75 inc p&p.

The principle, I believe, is very similar to the alkaline diet.

If the GP says it okay I could be dancing again by the weekend!

I agree with you on the H2O2 I see more issues than benefits.

Hi before I buy anything I always read the reviews on the product. x

When I look at things like this, there are a couple of tests you can apply to see if it is "medically approved" or not. It failed on the first and main one....is it available VAT free to disabled folk....and this one is not. Therefore, it will not be on my shopping list.

Could get the same affect from healthy foods?

What are Alkaline Foods?

alkaline food examples An alkaline diet emphasizes alkaline foods such as whole fruits and vegetables and certain whole grains, which are low in caloric density. Healthy Alkaline Diet Foods involve the ideal balance between acidifying and alkalizing foods.

The body includes a number of organ systems that are adept at neutralizing and eliminating excess acid, but there is a limit to how much acid even a healthy body can cope with effectively. The body is capable of maintaining an acid-alkaline balance provided that the organs are functioning properly, that a well-balanced alkaline diet is being consumed, and that other acid-producing factors, such as tobacco use, are avoided.

How many today follow a healthy diet and regularly engage in other health-promoting activites?

The standard diet is highly acid-forming, overwhelming the body's mechanisms for removing excess acid. The staples of the diet are meat, dairy, corn, wheat, and refined sugars (all acidifying foods). At the same time, the diet is notably deficient in alkalizing fruits and vegetables.

The alkaline diet greatly reduces this acid load, helping to reduce the strain on the body's acid-detoxification systems, such as the kidneys.

Here is a list of Alkaline Foods, especially High Alkaline Foods:

Examples of Alkalining Vegetables: Beets, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Celery, Cucumber, Kale, Lettuce, Onions, Peas, Peppers, Spinach

Examples of Alkalizing Fruits: Apple, Banana, Berries, Cantaloupe, Grapes, Melon, Lemon, Orange, Peach, Pear, Watermelon

Alkalizing Protein: Almonds, Chestnuts, Tofu

Alkalizing Spices: Cinnamon, Curry, Ginger, Mustard, Sea Salt

Note: a food's acid or alkaline forming tendency in the body has nothing to do with the actual pH of the food itself. Although it might seem that citrus fruits would have an acidifying effect on the body, the citric acid they contain actually has an alkalinizing effect in the system.

Be Well

glad to hear your back after your "retirement " :)

i am of the view of hufferpuffer, on this one, its maybe just me, but i always remember when i was first diagnosed,my doctor told me never to spend money on things that are miracle cures etc. as there will be plenty out there.

i find huffers post an excellent post,

Hi Jimmy

First don't forget Mauka Honey is discounted at Holland & Barratt at the moment. I cant remember what the deal is but it is a good one. I totally agree with Huffer but drinking is easier for me - yes I meant water not wine!

Just out of daftness, and if you have time, have a look at the following link - ok forget the advertising at the end - its the principle I am interested, its all an education.

i did get a good deal from h and b , but only after a dispute :D their ad. [ a while ago] said ALL products buy one get another for a penny, i had someone buy me one and never got the discount , the manager in the shop said the 24+ stuff didn't come under this deal, he said in was SELECTED products ,,,long story cut short :) after a few e mails i got my free big £52 jar , as i had proved their ad. was misleading :D

don't mention water please :D i fell asleep last night with a bottle of water in my hand, woke up in the night, thought my catheter had burst,,, what a job at 3am , anyway all's well now.:)

take care carol,, just going to look at the video now

So Jimmy you think I should visit Scotland and sample the waters? A visit to Scotland is on my bucket list and something I really want to do. I will make a promise to myself to visit this year.

I have to go - it okay for you but I need my beauty sleep!

Night god bless

hi again carol, although very interesting i find it is still advertising based,

i note the narrator had an australian accent ,

i have to say carol i live in scotland where the water is best after all they make whisky with it, which sold all over the world :D [ but i don't drink any alcohol at all now ]

but it really is well known about the water in scotland, it is a very soft water easier to wash in, compared to say london where the water is hard , harder to wash in, harder to get soapy suds in etc.

most folks who come here notice the difference right away, so im happy with our scottish water :)

and i was the one that said in my previous post, "don't mention water :D "

kindest regards jimmy xxx :)

Hi Jimmy ,sorry to butt into Stephanie's post,hi Stephanie, but just wondering if you,ve tried Scottish Heather honey?I like the Manuka taste but it does,nt seem to give me any health benefits where as the Heather one does.I,m trying to figure out if it,s a regional thing,I was born in North East Scotland. It,s a lot cheaper too, give it a try I think Tesco do it,they,ve always run out so I get mine from Amazon on line.Cheers hope you are both happy and healthy.Off to bed now, night night D. :D

Hey S...What was the outcome of this x

Sokrackers profile image
Sokrackers in reply toMandy6513

Hi Mandy & Happy New Year

To cut a long story short save your money!

I bought a ph testing kit and tested my tap water before and after barely any difference so returned both for a refund.

But I went on to test several bottled waters for their ph and now only drink evian water as I found it to be more alkaline.

So nope hope for you here sorry.

I was thinking of posting on how posture (good posture) can increase the amount of O2

Have a Google and pm me with your thoughts if you get time

Take care

SK

Funny you should mention that as i just read a short article on breathing exercises that increases your alkaline. The more im reading up on the the more im surprised that we are not taught about it..Acidosis is a huge issue for many of us...i bought some Ph strips the other day and my levels were 5.75....The next day i ate lots of raw kale and spinach etc and it went up to 7 and i actually felt great.

I was told right at the start of my diagnosis that i should be on an 80 % alkaline diet but i could do it then because the hospital wanted me on a high fat diet to get my weight up and its worked but i cant stand the way i feel

I think the nhs are giving us a raw deal by not giving us this sort of information

Happy new year

Sokrackers in reply toMandy6513

I agree Mandy which is why so many of us join the forums like this to share and exchange info.

I bought a posture brace - initially uncomfortable as it pulled my shoulders back but wow what a difference.

Why don't you put a post up - I will of course support you and add any info I have learned - go for it girl

Xxx

Mandy6513 profile image
Mandy6513 in reply toSokrackers

I put a post up asking if anyone had any info on alkaline diets and from the replies i had i dont think many people have a clue.

Why did you chose a posture brace , where did that idea come from your really fit

Okay old lady slump, sagging boobies.... then came across this article

bodyzone.com/posture-and-br...

I got really poorly a few months back and was determined to fine tune some things.

I am doing Dry January - do you know how alcohol (even a little) can affect your breathing?

Yes I need a job but still pulling myself round trying to get back on my feet after being horizontal for so long. LOL

Mandy6513 profile image
Mandy6513 in reply toSokrackers

I dont drink so im doing dry year

in reply toMandy6513

Hi Mandy, might be a stupid question but do you know if it makes much difference if the kale and spinach is raw or cooked?

Mandy6513 profile image
Mandy6513 in reply to

Well i have read different views on that but go with the group who say raw is better because we were not born with fire and a frying pan :)

in reply toMandy6513

Good point!

Mandy6513 profile image
Mandy6513 in reply to

Sorry i had to rush that reply i was on my way to get a shower to go out........

I watched a documentary a couple of years ago that said our bodies had to work harder and longer to break down raw food to gain all the nutritious benefits from it and cooking the food just made it easier

They seem to change their mind about food and drink , you only have to look at the red wine issue..one week its good for us then its bad then it good and now we are back to it being bad for us

Although i made a joke of it i just cant see how we get more value from food by cooking it because we are animals at the end of the day and can live on just raw foods....

There is a program on tonight about healthy eating that ive missed called "how to lose weight well" ....It shows a lot about alkaline in our diets and from the little bit of research ive been doing its a big deal for any of us with lung issues to have plenty of alkaline in our diets so i will be looking for a repeat of it to watch..........channel 4seven on freeview called "How to lose weight well"
