Hi Rubyred don't know about my FEV1, I don't really take a lot of notice just go on how I feel.
We had lunch cooked for us by my daughter at our house and I am up early this morning to put a big piece of pork in the oven we have 7 coming today for hot pork baps and other goodies which my girls will prepare. Have been proper spoilt this year.
I do hope you had a lovely day and it would be nice to see what other did or are doing.
polly xx
Ha ha thank you Ruby - you can be honourary president of my BUG club if you like
I had quite a nice day thanks - went to my sister and her bf. Hope you did too.
My FEV1 last was 66% so a little bit higher than yours. I find I get sob quite quickly especially walking up hills and steps but I think a lot depends on how fit you are. The fitter you are the less oxygen your muscles use and the better you can breathe.
Have you been to PR (Pulmunory Rehabilitation) yet? They will teach you exercises especially designed for us lungies to increase our stamina and fitness level. x
You are on Ruby! You are in charge of the BUG club in the States
I last had my fev1 done December last year. I was due for another check this December but due to their new policy of doing the checks on birthdays instead will have to wait another couple of months. I hope it hasn't decreased! Are you in the moderate stage still? x
Well, I'm on my tod by the sea in the South of France.
Sunshine and cloudless blue sky for all of Christmas.
My Christmas meal was smoked salmon & blini, baked salmon with Mediterranean vegetables (loads of garlic) followed by a mini Christmas pud which I shared with the dog (he wasn't to keen either).
Only me but I still managed to feel stupidly stuffed and I have leftovers to last a week.
Can't advise on fev. Have no idea what mine is now. Very hilly here and I'm forcing myself to walk as much as poss as getting over an infection. Need some exercise badly after over indulging.
French telly is rubbish so reading a lot. Although Dr Zhivago uncut was on yesterday dubbed, so had to stretch the brain more than a bit (luckily I've seen it a few times in English).
Recently finished reading Winter in Madrid (excellent) and now reading about Ernest Hemingway's early life in Paris.
Tomorrow I might take a little boat trip to the nearby Calanques (fjord like coves). Life in the fast lane
