The worst bit is behind us, 'the build up', so now we can all relax and enjoy the day. Yesterday on my annual delivery of chocolates and biscuits to my GPs and ICU Hospital ward I shook the hand of the consultant who played a major part in saving my life 4 years ago, he told me how he still keeps an eye on how I'm doing, after all he did nominate me to carry the Olympic torch because of the way I fought and won an impossible battle to survive. We were a team then, I fought and he used all of his knowledge and expertise to help me win that battle. I owe this Man so much for giving the best gift of all, LIFE!!!
Merry Christmas to all you Healthunlockeders, have a great day and always remember were not alone in our fight here on the best site on the planet.

You are just SO thoughtful Tony. I would never have thought of doing that, but its true, these doctors and nurses keep us alive and we owe them SO MUCH
I wish you and your wife a wonderful and happy Christmas...and I hope so much that you won't have to long to wait until you get 'THE CALL'
Morning Tony, and a very Happy Christmas to you. That was so thoughtful of you going back to see the consultant and nurses, and I bet you it gave them such a boost and feeling of humbleness and gratitude to see you doing so well.
Hope the call comes soon, and you know we will all be there with you in spirit, when it does come.
I don't think any of us would forget what we owed someone who had saved our life, but you go and see them and make them aware, so I am in no doubt they appreciate you so much.
I don't know if you remember, but my cat greatly appreciated your singing on you tube, when he runs out the room if I start. I love the carol Silent Night, so tried again singing but off he went!!! I know I am bad at singing, but didn't know it was so bad as all that. lol
Take care, and I hope things start happening for you in 2015.
Life, the greatest gift & like you I think I owe mine to the Dr who referred me, the Consultant who diagnosed me & the Surgeons who removed the cancer. Every good wish Tony & enjoy the day. Margaret x
Hi Tony. It is so thoughtful of you to spend your Christmas eve letting the people who looked after you how much you appreciate them. We so often fall down in this respect and even a card is appreciated by the people who have treated us. So happy you are doing so well Tony but I expect nothing better from our miracle man. Enjoy the rest of your Christmas and Health and Happiness in the New Year.
