Firstly, I have to apologise for not getting this done a few days ago, but have had a few problems myself health wise, and was not really up to posting a " short " post. lol
Secondly, Wen was home for the weekend, and managed to squeeze an extra day from the hospital so had 3 sleeps in her own bed. She is sounding totally back to normal now, and I know I have been saying she has been sounding more like her old self, and she was, now she is back to her old self again, albeit that bit more slowly in doing things. Her spirit is back, and she was telling me off, nicely of course, so that is always a good sign.
Unfortunately though, and Wen wanted this part kept quiet until she knew the full story, she has heart problems also, and has been started on meds for that, and hopefully they will do the trick, and she will not require stents. However, she does seem to have wrapped her head around that and its just waiting and seeing how the tablets work.
Thirdly, and now for the really good bit, Wen has just announced that they are looking to discharge her later in the week, so that is fantastic news.
She managed at home not badly at all, and made a pot of chicken soup! I know this is just a minor detail to tell you, but gives you an idea of how far she has come.
I am sure she will be in touch soon, and again my apologies for the delay on this update. I will be getting sacked, lol.

That is such wonderful news about coming home and being on the mend - sorry to hear about your heart Wen and hope they sort it soon - you take care of yourself too Huggs. I know you have not been well lately and are loath to say so - but you remember that folk on here love you too xxx

I am sure Wen wouldn't mind you pm'ing her at all. The only thing I would say however, is that she is not replying individually at the moment, but I know she has received some, but is not replying just now. I think that will change when she gets discharged, but it may depend on how many she has etc. I know she appreciates the forum messages so a pm would be similarly appreciated. At the moment she is fully occupied in hospital with resting, physiotherapy and OT, as well as getting tests, so as you can understand, is concentrating on that. She is very appreciate of everyone's support and messages, which she well tell you again herself. Sorry, I am rambling again. lol The short answer would be yes, but do not necessarily expect a reply at the moment. lol Take care, hope you are doing ok at the moment? I know you have a struggle, and my thoughts are with you too.
Well done Wendells I know you love to cook, sorry to hear about your heart problem, hope they can sort that out for you very soon. Remember when you get home take things slowly, little steps are best you must take care.

Thank you, yes I am feeling a bit better today, but have a number of appointments and treatment to get, which will be fun living on an island and trying to get to the mainland. Particularly with one of the vessels regularly breaking down, and then having to sail to different ports according to the weather.

Thanks for asking, and I am a lot better today, so have been able to post a couple of times. Just the usual tiredness that most of us get really, and a few things coming up, which one has already been cancelled due to the timing of the appointment which was suppose to be on Christmas Eve. That appointment was for a bi lateral occipital nerve block, which I have been waiting on for a while now, and is simply a nerve block in my neck.
How are you? I know you look after your husband so hope he is doing okay at the moment.
