Hi BOxermad, I had to finishwork because of ill health last year, and after much wrangling with DWP I had to go for a medical assessment at ATOS, anyway to cut a long story short. I had to go to appeal which I won and was placed into the support group. Any help or advice you need I will try to help. T

To see what you can get. A visit to your local CAB might be worth an hour of your time.

Just a word of warning to those of you who may work past your retirement age and defer your pension. What they don't tell you is that when you do get your enhanced pension it will take you over the amount to claim any benefits. Not a lot, just enough to take you out of the equation.
