Hi janpen46,
It all depends on what one you are on. Generally they shouldn't but some have to be taken with food, or even before food. The leaflet you get with your antibiotics should tell you what to look out for. Also if you are on any other medications there could be an interaction between the two. It is impossible to say one way or another, because you have not said what the tablets or capsules are. However, you should not be bleeding anyway. If it is a lot of blood then call the out of hours service for advice, and see your GP in the morning. I say again, read the leaflet and see what it says, but do not let this go on any longer. You could phone the out of hours clinic and they will give you advice, and they can ask you all the relevant questions. Take care and good luck. hugs xxx
hi yes I had this a few years ago and do not take augmentine
Ethromycin nearly killed me a few years ago.
Whatever you're taking, you need to see a doctor - furthermore the bleeding may not even be anything to do with the antibiotic so se the doc asap
