This is so true. I have removed child!!! I had three jumpers and I shrunk them. I washed the woollens in low temperature, but what shrunk them was the high spinning. So I had to buy new woollens, I follow the instructions to use the right gentle soap and the right washing machine cycle (woollen, 30 degree, 800 spin). I've also found soap nuts, which are kernels that produce a soapy material gentle to wool. I have to love my woollens, if not it can be a rather expensive mistake!
