nasal dryness
Hi, Maruth. This is not something I suffer from but I know there have been a few posts about it. Perhaps using the search box may help? Glad to see you posting.
Hi
You might try KY jelly. Since I have been using oxygen 15/24 hrs my nose has become very dry at times. It works for me. I just use a cotton bud to place a thin layer over the inside of each nostril.

Hi Maruth.
I know this will sound nuts but, I had a constant bad nose through sinusitis . My doctor has prescribed Sterimar nasal hygiene allergy.
I have been on it for two weeks now and
It has worked a treat for me, it is 100% natural seawater.
I know all too well how annoying this can be for you so I would suggest that you talk to your doctor about it.

hi martuf i sometimes find it hard to breath though my nose so i have brought from the chemist OTRIVINE SINUSITIS SPRAY and it starts working in minutes and last for 10 hours and it works for me has i used to try make myself sneeze to losen things up but this is good for me and was only £3

Hello Music ....... Be carefuI: I know what you mean about the instant magic of Otrivine and also Sudafed (same stuff, better sprayer). I used it for a couple of nights and slept well because I could breathe better. Trouble is the 'rebound' effect which means that after just a few days you can't stop using it because the nasal passages block up again as soon as you stop ... that is, the blocked nose is now caused by using the spray. In the long term this may not be a good thing. If you want to see if your nose has got better you may have to stop the spray, put up with a blocked nose for a day or two and then see how you are . It really works but keep some for 'emergency' short term use only, I would say, and try dabbing a tiny spot of the liquid spray on your finger tip and spread this just on the entrance to the nostrils. This gives me temporary relief without filling your nose with the chemical; can't say why, but works for me !
