shortage of beds, also I have noticed a lot of people who live alone don't want to return home!! I find that very sad, and don't want myself to be in that situation. Thinking of you all. xx

Good to hear from you brooke12 and hoping that things pick up for you now. It is sad if people don't want to go home but you will be fine I am sure. Thinking of you and wishing you well. Stay strong. Lots of love, xxxxxxx

Hi Brooke, it's nice you can spend a little time at home after being such a long time at the health centre. I too think it's very sad that some people are so lonely they would rather be in hospital. C.o.p.d. can be a very isolating illness, as your breathing worsens you end up going out less and less so very little socialising! The internet has become a great way for people to meet and make friends, although of course it can't compare to real live company! I used to wheel my Mum down to her favourite pub to meet with her friends and she loved it.

Hopefully you will be well enough to go home next week and don't forget we're all here ready to 'chat' when you feel the need, get well soon :) huff x

Hi Brooke, It's good you are keeping in touch and I hope your weekend was good. You've had it rough and it's always a delicate balance getting back to your old self but you sure sounds like you're on the way! We're all thinking of you anyway. Sara xx

Txs for the post Brooke, you must be doing so well,be proud of yourself! Just take it one day at a time, when you're home, there will be ups & downs, but you know you're stronger now,& can make it!

It is sad, when people have nothing to go home to,& my heart aches for them. There is always someone worse off eh?

Anyway, concentrate on yourself love,& remember you have a long & happy life ahead of you.

Hugs Wendells xxxx
