Thank you. My immediate thought, and I might be being a bit thick here, is if there is a limited supply of organs for transplantation and this regeneration requires lungs from a cadaver, are they not going to find the same problem with regard to availability!

More lungs suitable for transplant has to be a good news story some that are not good enough now could be regenerated I will cling onto that hope a little light in the darkness.

Thanks for the information. I doubt if the research will come to fruition in my lifetime, but it's good to know steps are being taken to help with this illness and be of benefit to others x
