My lung function is 64 percent what does this mean. I have been diagnosed with copd and referred to pulmonary rehab. Very breathless.

I don't get this percentage what does it mean please.

I assume you are talking about your FEV1 predicted i.e. the amount you can exhale in 1 second. They workout what a person without lung disease would expect to be, taking into account your height, sex ,age etc. and your result is 64% based on that information.

I suggest to enrol on Pulmonary Rehabilitation, if you can. Works wonders and is very helpful and reassuring.

Dear Sukeen we are all different my lung percentage is around 30 sometimes a little more but I still work and Go to pulmonary fitness every week and thoroughly enjoy it. Do every thing you can to keep you well and stay fit. Best wishes
