Thanks for responding suzy. Good that we can be concerned for someone we have never met. Let's hope for the best. Popplewell

Amazing and good that we can get close without meeting! Think about King and how he is missed.

Hi Popplewell. I'm still here but didn't like bringing bad news all the time. My Husband is out of Hospital now. He came out on Wednesday night. They gave him three days of IV Steroids and has given him Steroid tablets to come home with. One of the Drs said they have done all they can now. His lungs are starting to close in. I had been texting the respiratory nurse quite a few times to tell her we couldn't get his oxygen levels up to the 90s. We even asked for a re-assessment which she did. He was told he could have oxygen on 24 hours. He then ended up having episodes of what they call Apnoea where the oxygen was not getting to the brain. That's why he went into Hospital. The Steroids have improved things but I Wonder for how long? Thanks for enquiring. How are you? X

Hi Jane. I have just been thinking of getting a puzzle out. I haven't so far this year as I haven't had time. I'm like you. I have a job to leave it. I want to finish it there and then. Not possible I know but you know what I mean. I'm the same with a book or drawing. I don't want to leave it until it's either done or right. It's 9.45am at the moment and we have beautiful sunshine. I don't think it's going to last though. More heavy rain predicted. My Husband wouldn't eat the Hospital food but since he's home he's eating much better. I don't like to leave him on his own after his Apnoea attacks. My son is getting my shopping. I will probably get him to Husband sit at some time. I'm happy to be in at the moment. Take care Jane thanks for posting. Mavis. Xx

Hi Mavary, Thanks for taking time to get back to me. You are having an awful time of it. I am thinking about you and Muke. I have had a couple of good days but just can't walk about or do anything. I am going down the same road but what can you do? They promised us a terrible day today but the sun is shining so lets hope it stays. Good wishes to you. Lois

Hi Lois. Mikes the same. Just going to the bathroom and he is struggling to breathe. His oxygen levels are better since he was on the Steroids. We can maintain it in the nineties now when he is sitting. Before he went in Hospital it wouldn't go up to the nineties very often. We had a beautiful morning with lots of sunshine. It's all changed again now and we have wind and rain. I wish it was summer. Mike is so much better then. The trouble is there is a lot more cold and miserable weather to come. I will get out things to do while Mike watches TV. Take care. Mavis. X

Bless you for asking, not too bad. Think I've a head cold and it'll be interesting if I can prevent it from creeping down to the lungs with my regime of pelting my immune system with support via vits........ I'm more worried about you xxxx

Hi Peeg. You've got enough to worry about with yourself. Things are going better at the moment for us. I'm crossing my fingers. You look after that cold. I've got very mild asthma and you can bet if I get a cold it goes down. There's not really much you can do to prevent it. Just catch it straight away if it does. Take care. X

So sorry to hear that Mavis, was wondering if anything was wrong,

Hugs to you & Mike, take care,

Love Wendells xxx

Hi Wendells. How is your weather now? A little cooler I hope.what about you. Are you any better. I've had a really scary time with my Husband. Thankfully he is better than he was but it is not good news with him. They have done all they can for him and the disease is critical. It is such a worry. Anyway it's nice to hear from you. Take care. Mavis . X

Hi Stitch. Sorry I didn't get back to you before. Your post has only come up on mine so I lost you. Mike is home but he struggles with doing anything. Even walking to the loo or going to bed takes it out of him. We can't go anywhere at the moment either. It's too cold. I have been reading your posts but with going to the hospital I didn't have much time. Some nights I didn't get in till about eight and then I would cook my dinner. If I left early I would be tied up in heavy traffic then what should take three quarters of an hour took two hours. I would sooner spend that time with my husband. Anyway I'm back now. Take care. X
