Having a duvet day .......

After going to the dentist, hygienist and Addenbrookes yesterday I decided to have a duvet day today. The fact that after listening to my chest the consultant changed my antibiotics and put me on a high dose antibiotic ciprofloxcin for 2 weeks then changed my prophalytic to Doxycycline until I am seen again.

We carry on with chest infections etc whilst other people would take to their bed with them!

Good for you having a duvet day. It sounds as if you had a busy day yesterday and you want to see if you can knock the chest infection on the head. I have taken a high dose ciprofloxcin before and it is a very good antibiotic. You should try to get as much rest as you can. Maybe a second duvet day tomorrow?

I have duvet days, or at least I stay in my kaftan and nightie. It is relaxing xx

I hope you feel better soon, I am on antbiotics as well, have been for 4 weeks, I think with us it takes so long to shake off infections, take care and keep warm xx

Yes another duvet day today- coughing up so much muck! I might even have a 3rd duvet day tomorrow.

i finish my antibotics tonight have carried on working as it is hard to get cover for 5.30am hopefully it will all clear up soon.been very tired this week marian xx
