Primary research starts in the GP's consulting room! Providing they cooperative but I am guilty of googling but will only go on certain sites. Anything to do with NHS or BBC is good, and the Boots one. And keep it British. Also have a pinch of salt!!

Toci, Dr Google can certainly give you a scare. I find that half of what's on there (unless it is a link to a reliable specialist site like BLF) is outdated, or wrong. Kath xx

ive got a lung function test on thursday with nurse then docs after for results,,so scared. my only symptoms were slight breathlessness and bit wheezy ,,am on preventer now which has stopped symptoms

Some private medical companies scare people so they can make money curing them.

Terrible I know they have no cure for fit and well no money to be made from good health.

Hi flower, try to be brave and remain positive to, like urself I had a spirometry test done due to mild breathlessness, results came back after worrying myself silly absolutely normal with no breathing obstruction at all.

many years ago ,when I was working on oil tankers there were no doctors on board , only some one who had a first aid course, and a great big book to consult , I looked through this book one day and , concluded I had every one of the symptons in there ,there fore i was dead. result I don`t look in any thing like that any more

your not kidding becraftygirl im terrified lol,,onlt got 2 days till lung function then i will know for sure ,,im convinced its copd anyway because of breathlessness ,not that ive had any symptons since being on preventer,x

lung function is nothing and you can stop this getting any worse and control it you have to be strick but please dont worry .

i remember i went to docs with chest infection he said well its ya c o p d i said i havent got that he said you have i said wish some one had of told me lol

glad your doing ok now,,i really dont know what i got as i not really got any symptoms apart from bit breathless, no cough i can exercise be a bit breathless and recover in a couple of mins ,x

my old GP always used Google I used to think bloody hell your on £120,000 a year I find pharmacist are worth there weight in gold and are more than happy to help, I never Google you could end up having nightmares.
