Hello I'm 29 so will be reading your blog with interest. X
I've bookmarked it for future reading.
Hi I am not young but will follow your blog with interest x
I was diagnosed at 16 over 40 years ago, so I will certainly be interested to follow your blog.
Cant believe this What stage did they diagnose you at 16? And what meds did you take? xx
I was diagnosed as mild, no medications, but had a lobectomy of the left lung at age 18. My current status is moderate, and I still don't take any medication. Luckily, I am able to manage the illness with care and I think I have benefitted from having the illness all my life, as I know my limitations, and live a fairly full and active life, despite very low lung capacity.
I will look at you blog lol x
That's young! I'm 51 now, I think looking back no one knew about copd. I've struggled all my life or for as long as I can remember with breathing, not severely but mild. I loved PE at school just couldn't breath enough always felt out of breath and I could never get enough air in. I would come in last or out of breath before everyone else. Everyone used to say how unfit I was and we would joke about. I was never checked for asthma or anything else. In fact I'd never heard of asthma until my youngest son was diagnosed with it when he was tiny. I'll follow your blog. Eat healthy and sleep well! x
Hi Marti, look forward to reading it in the future. I hope it will be a great help to other young people.
polly xx
Hi Marti, will look forward to it,what a great idea, good luck with it all, xx
Hi Marti, I symperthies with your problems but I admire your spirt, the thing is to love what you do have and always look up and forward with hope. I am always looking for alternative forms of treatment and there are many out there on the web,the problem is those that would help are usually very expensive, at the moment I am looking at something called PQQ which helps to strengthen the energy giving part of the blood cells which should help with breathing but it will probably take a while to work, I will let you know how it goes if you wish. Good luck and keep smiling, wallawalla
You could guest blog x
Sorry Marti, I am not experienced at bloging could you enlarge your reply to me please so as to help me to know what to do, thanks.
Of course, I can. You can write something about PQQ and your experiences on word or something then email it to me and I can post it on my blog with you listed as the author x
Thanks Marti will do but it will take a day or two because like all other sufferers it takes me a while to do anything, I am in what they call late stage I am permanently breathless but I will do it as quick as I can.
Hi Marti I was 42 when I was diagnosed and I thought that was young I can't get my head around a 16 year old with COPD. I admire you for setting up a blog and would support you if you need it, I think this will help you and millions of others out there with this good luck. x
I've made it a favourite marti, although I don't have COPD, I will still find it interesting. Thank you.

Hello Marti, I red your first hello! and wish you every success with it! I once decided to join the NANOWRIMO National Novemeber Writing Month. Although this was called national, it actually extend to any nation. They wanted us to write a book of 15000 in one month. I took the challenge and did it! I'm only 64 and a bit years old!
I'm glad of your inspiring challenge. this calls for lots of research and lot of your own stories. That work of love should become fascinating as it grows. Good luck!
Hi Marti, I'll try to follow your blog as much as I can. I guess I agree with most other replies that it's sad that you have it at such a young age. I have COPD because I smoked for nearly 50 years, and only gave up 12 weeks ago. Hardly bad luck!
Hi Marti, you seem to have gone silent I hope all is Ok with you, I now have something on paper for your blog if you want it Wallawalla
