All true. I've never worried about having many things but now I worry about heating and paying the other bills. Sadly those are necessary but not free. Caring and living are free but they have to be supported by things that are not free. I love my husband, 3 grown up children and lovely granddaughter. However, I have to provide a roof, something for the table and clothing. All my favourite things are free but I think too many people think their needs should be met for free. I used to love walking in the forest (lungs can no longer manage that) but, especially since the government wanted to sell it off, I am very aware that there is a huge cost involved in managing facilities. Water, although we have more than enough, costs. Yes, the best things in life are free so long as you can afford them. :-) :-) :-) Alison

Yes. I am with you on that one. It is nice to have things but people you love are more important.

I quite agree, also with you Mavary. My wife, ill with bipolar in hospital, is very courageous to brave the weather to come and see me. I couldn't face going out at the moment. so I am very grateful for my wife coming.

She likes to share food with me. these are nice things to have, given with the heart.
