BLF Site

I have found that the new site has 2 speeds speed 1 slow speed 2 Please wait>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> is anything being done to rectify this?. Berwick

Hello there - are you talking about our main website: blf.org.uk

I've just had a look at the stats and the average time it takes to load a page is under 4 seconds.

Is this a problem you have with other websites, or just ours?

Michael, I have sent messages letting you know this has been a problem for many of us for some time now. Click on anything and there is often a message to say "loading" which is then extended to "this is taking a while". There is sometimes also a delay in posting, though I can't remember the message. It happens about 30% of the time I use the site over the last 4 weeks or so. Others have also had the same problems. I don't have problems with other sites.

I agree with toci, although it keeps me repeatedly pressing the SEND button, resulting in numerous messages being received.

Correct - UH site. So bad at times that people give up and leave the site, returning later hoping it is better.

I also have a problem with HU BLF community running very slow but do not have any problems with other HU communities which all seem to be much faster. Very odd & annoying. As I was replying to this post have just had a pop down stating 'ops how embarrassing cannot find post' Then my comment appeared on the post. Seem to have the gremlins!

I'm the same as TOCI too. Only the HU BLF site affected.
