Does anyone know if there is any specialist hopspitals in Scotland dealing with this type of lung disorder IPF

I attend an an excellent clinic in Edinburgh. I think there are clinics in Aberdeen and Glasgow. Where are you? Chris

Hi Chris I am in Ayrshire and was diagnosed about 3 month ago and told to come back in November without any information on what IPF is .

greetings Richard, I have sent an email to The One Show on bbc re IPF week maybe they will promote it, maybe it's not sensational enough for them to bother,we will see, my continuing loyalty to the show depends on the result (if they did but know it) have a happy day.

Hi Eck, There are 2 NHS hospitals I know off St John's Livingston. The Royal Infirmary Edinburgh, they have mixed Lung clinics with PF/IPF hope you get sorted call the BLF Matt

Hi Matt since I was diagnosed earlier this year I have had no other information and just really want to know more about IPF and what I should be doing instead of just worrying . Truth is I feel a bit lost

I was diagnosed with IPF in March 2013 with no information from the consultant. I got in touch with BLF who sent me various leaflets and contacted a respiratory nurse who phoned me within the hour to give me some good advice and recommendations of specialist hospital(s) in my area. Give them a ring !!

Hi wintonian thanks for your reply and good advice I will get in touch with the BLF and I have also applied to go to a meet the experts workshop run by the BLF in Newcastle in october keep in touch and let me know how things are going .
