No wonder you're confused. I am too! Surely the consultant would be in a better position to know the best treatment for you, rather than the COPD Nurse?
I'd be ring your consultant to find out what the situation is, and if there's been any improvement in your illness to warrant this change of treatment.

Sounds a bit odd, I agree with Sandra you need to see your consultant or maybe discuss it with your GP.

On what grounds did the nurse furnish you for taking away your oxygen?
Did she perform more tests? Was she advised from your consultant?
My first port of call would be to get back to her and ask for answers, then
tell her you are getting in touch with your consultant. She should never have
sent you away without a good explanation. Bad. No wonder you are confused.

at one point my concentrator was removed, and i was left with just 2 cannisters......during this particular incident i felf very strongly that cost was playing a big part......
