I have been struggling to breathe to-day tried doing some gardening.Is it the heat it's been very warm here to-day?.

Hi Gail, the weather does play havoc with my breathing too. If you're really SoB - please take your meds, and if they don't work in the time zone, call an ambulance....

It could very well be Gail, also if you have been bending a bit, it can compress the lungs. We can't win can we? Just do a little and take a breather; the fresh air and exercise is good for you even if it doesn't feel like it

Pollen, heat, dust in the air can affect our breathing. Were you ok before and after you came back inside? Or after taking your reliever med? If your symptoms worsen phone contact your doctor out of hours service or NHS direct for further advice.

Yes it most likely the heat Gail so sorry to hear you are feeling sob. Listen to your body it is telling you to slow down the combination of the sudden rise in temprature and the gardening is possibly too much. I can not spend too long in the heat, and cannot work in it at all now. I hope you are feeling better very soon take it easy, Love Julie xxx

Hope you are feeling better today Gail. The pollen count has shot up too which may not help and yesterday my husband was really suffering with SOB. Take care. TAD xx

You know the saying "mad dogs and english men go out in the midday sun" take heed and stay in during the heat of the day, if I go out between 10am and 1pm Im totally exhausted if its a hot day but I can manage fine after 1pm obviously no marathon running but as long as I take things slowly I can spend some time in the garden.
