Five whole days without my landline and internet.

Today is the sixth day since my landline and internet went drastically wrong. I don't think you would believe how lost I felt having no phone line and no internet. (I do have my mobile but it's not the same.)

This morning I found that my phone worked and I could get onto the internet. Absolute joy!!!!

Peter, my husband, has gone off to Cheltenham to collect our new car so, hopefully, this afternoon I'll have a trip out in it (although it takes about four hours to get to Cheltenham from Falmouth so maybe my trip out will be tomorrow).

The sun is shining today, my son has finished his chemotherapy and is back at work and (I know it's tempting fate but) everything seems to be OK.

I am so pleased to be back (but astonished at how many questions and blogs have been posted in five days).

Good wishes and breathe easy

Lots of love and hugs from

Annec

Welcome back we missed you, have fun in your new car. Glad to hear your sons chemo is over and I pray all goes well for him now and for you too. Any chance you could share some of that sunshine with us, its pretty awful in Lincolnshire. Best wishes Julie x x x

My mother has just had a similar situation and it made her quite depressed - no landline/internet for 10 days! What did we do before the days of computers - be quite lonely I suppose! Hope the new car is fab and you enjoy your trip in it. Take good care, TAD xx

Loved your pink typewriter. Always bad news when the broadband goes down. I suppose we shouldn't be so reliant on the internet. It wouldn't hurt me to get out pen and paper and write a letter. Know my handwriting has suffered. love xx

Really to hear about your son, pepsi, things are ticking over with husband. He is moulting like mad - it will be the cats turn next.

Hello Annie

I learned to type on a 'Royal' typewriter (not a pink one though).

David didn't lose his hair with the chemo drugs that he had. When will your husband finish his chemotherapy? I hope that he doesn't have too many bad side effects.

Lots of love and hugs

Hello Nowheeze

I'm so pleased now that my internet is in good health now!

I have to 'step up' into this new car rather than 'fall into' it as I did with our last car.
