Sold my car so Blue Badge was put somewhere safe in the house until the car was replaced. Tomorrow we're going to our daughters in Dennis's truck, need to park outside their restaurant for which I need my Blue Badge, looked everywhere, absolutely everywhere for that 'safe place' where we put it.

This is so frustrating, libby. You wear yourself out looking for it, and checking places where you know it cant possibly be. My idea, if something is lost, starting at the wheeile bin and work backwards, hunting. Every so often, sit down, relax, and it might just pop into your mind where you put it. The fact is, it just has to be somewhere in the house. Good luck, Annieseed
My local council cancel lost or stolen badges but not as fast as tomorrow. Somewhere very hard to guess and illogical is the next hiding place for the badge that ran away from home.
i bought two door handles ,the better half put them away for me , on the afternoon they couldn`t be found ,searched every where , no luck so I went to B&Q and bought two more. two days later I opened the oven door to put some thing in for dinner ,and lo and be hold, two door handles looking at me. is it a women thing that just has to hide things away?
It was Dennis who put it in a 'safe place', so I'm not reponsible thank goodness, but where the heck is it. Not in handbag, or between books, not in the oven ! Every drawer has been emptied and everything just shoved back so that the drawers will hardly shut, no guessing who's going round the house like a man poccessed.
Different in our house. The wife is the one who shoves things in and tries to shut drawers, especially the freezer. I often have to empty it out and use my Tetris skills to find that it all fits in to 50% of the space
I sometimes find that if I sit down, have a cup of tea and relax - I have a brainwave and find the missing object! Could it be with coats? keys? or even the bedroom? Good Luck xxx
One of my many foibles is that I like everything in its place so I can go straight to it. My wife on the other hand is a dumper. She dumps this here and that there and and expects it to still be there in three weeks time. Unfortunately for her I am a compulsive tidier. This causes more rows in our house than anything. Bobby
You keep tidying mate,,if she aint learned by now she never will,,,she will have no faults though,,hahahahahaha
Have you tried visualisiing the last time you saw it? I tend to do that - remembering where I was and what I was doing - now this does involve sitting down with a relaxing cuppa! Take your time - don't push your memory - somehow the "hiding" place reveals itself.... Enjoy your trip out tomorrow
