Hi all im having an asthma flare up coughing a lot and getting sob went to walk in centre and they did chest x ray ive got a bit of infection at bottom of my lung got given anti biotics =amoxycillin and a couse of steroids im on trelegy 92/55/22 inhaler should i keep taking the trelegy with the steroids,cos when i did yesterday it made me cough quite a lot today i havent taken my trelegy yet and not coughing as much any advice would be greatly appreciated

If it were me I'd keep taking whatever inhaler I'm prescribed for controlling my asthma. I hope you get some supportive replies from more knowledgeable members than I. Good for you in going to a walk-in centre!
Hi Dibster, I have never been advised to stop my usual asthma treatments when taking steroids and antibiotics. Maybe the extra coughing will help release some of the gunk that’s on your chest??
