Usually only whn i have a chest infection x
I always get back pain before and during a chest infection.
Hi there,
When my asthma is getting worse pain starts in my chest then moves to my back then to my lower back, This for me coincides with an asthma attack with me that normally put me in hospital for a week
In the days when I used to have severe attacks I would get back pain from hunching, and fighting for breath. Although I don't often have attacks these days, when my asthma is exacerbated or poorly controlled I can get a bit sore, but I think it's just from the exhaustion of constantly fighting for breath. I was an office worker for many years though, and I found that poor seating and poor posture were the most likely causes of back injuries. I've done some yoga over the years and can recommend it for posture, strength and back pain management.
