Of course it sounds good, they’re trying to get you to buy it! I never take anything which hasn’t been subjected to large scale clinical trials, using asthmatics. As far as I know, TMM hasn’t. I’m even careful to check whether common vits & mins are ok for me.

How does your husband know it won’t actually trigger his asthma, or conflict with one of the drugs he takes? If his asthma isn’t well controlled the best course is to make an appointment with his asthma clinic to discuss this. Unlike drugs, supplements are totally unregulated. Be very, very careful

I was once (quite correctly) told off by my gp for not telling him what herbal medication I was taking. He pointed out that it could interfere with my prescription medications. Since then I have always been careful with what I additionally take.

I would double check with his gp and/or pharmacist before he starts taking the drug that it won’t create problems.

Personally I would be quite wary of taking anything new. I have multiple health issues and over the years have taken a whole multitude of different herbal and other non prescription drugs. Only a very few made any difference hence I am very sceptical.

You should check with your doctor before taking any supplements like this, as they could interfere with medication you are already taking. Also, be aware that just because something is 'natural' it doesn't mean it is automatically safe. (I say this as someone who is very pro-herbal medicine as long as it is used safely by people who know what they are doing. Natural supplements can be dangerous when used without proper knowledge and care. )

I would say don't try iy/ I have heart problems and St Johns -wort is a herb that brings down blood pressure ect - if I took that it would imediately react with my Nitrates, nicorandal ect. and with dangerous results.

Point being if you must try suppliments check with your GP or your Pharmasist.
