Hi all, wondering if anyone has experience with dyspnea. My Dad has a habit of shallow breathing at certain times of the day for about two years, the duration of the habit seems to be getting longer. He is 84 and am convinced it is anxiety but he has angina. I have tried getting him to breathe more normal during the episodes but won't listen.
I think Dad probably knows what he's doing - I know you can't help being anxious about it, but do try to be relaxed around him. Anxiety is kind of catching, so being calm will help both of you.
