Hi I’m just wondering if any one knows what this is as the Dr’s where not telling me until I have this other scan, I had the camera down when I was in resus with my asthma I’ve been incubated 4 times, I asked the Med Reg and ICU reg and they have not seen this in a long time, I’m bricking it thankyou
Does anyone no what this is as I’ve b... - Asthma Community ...
Does anyone no what this is as I’ve been asked to go back to the hospital as it should not be in my throat or windpipe I’m confused
To be honest it is very difficult to see what I am meant to be looking at in the picture. Sorry. It is good that doctors are investigating and sorting scans. I also don’t think it is a good idea for us (who are not medically qualified) to guess what the problem may or may not be.
Hope the investigations are quick, thorough and show nothing sinister.
Thank you for your reply, I thought a few Dr’s might be on the site who have come across this
The site “healthunlocked.Com” is (what ever forums you belong to) primarily for people to be able to discuss their health conditions with other people who either have same/similar conditions or carers of such people. It isn’t a forum for doctors and such like. I would also be suspicious of any doctor who claimed to know what is wrong from one picture! It would be unethical and would lead me to be suspicious they aren’t actually a genuine doctor. As I said before hope you the investigations are quick and able to put your mind at rest.
Every time I have a scan or investigation they always find something and I'm always told while waiting for further tests that it's normal to find something and most things like nodules, polyps, lumps & bumps are just imperfections, so I shouldn't worry. But I admit I felt really anxious when they found a nodule in my lung...and had to wait 3 months for the next comparative scan. Unfortunately, until you have further tests/investigations it won't be easy to diagnose. Just ensure that you're definitely on a scan appointment list. All the best and try not to worry.
