1st cold since panademic and flare up

My first cold in two years this last week. This in turn flared up my asthma. So on friday evening after a drop in my peak flow 400/500, lose of energy and tightness in my chest I started my rescue pack (as per asthma plan) and phone my doctor to tell them I had done so. Now on 3/5 day of prednisolne.

Today I started taking 4 puffs of ventolin and will do this every 4 hours.

Peak flow is fine, chest is a little tight and I dont have any energy yet.

Any advice its been so long since I had to deal with this.

If peak flow is fine now and things are ok on your extra ventolin I'd just keep going with that, with rest and keeping hydrated. Sounds like the pred is doing its job. The loss of energy cold well be the virus itself so unrelated to asthma. But just take your time recovering.
