I feel unwell for a long time after exercise but not always during the excise. Is this asthma or something else. It feels like after a real bad attack.

Breathless during exercise but not so much after

Afterwards Sickness, fatigue not always breathlessness but feeling really unwell

Is this a new reaction to exercise or have you only started exercising recently? If you're new to exercise then the nausea could be caused by the blood flow being diverted from your digestive system to muscles, it's not uncommon and suggests you're new to exercise or your doing intense exercise. As for fatigue, it could be a lack of available energy post exercise (talk to your personal trainer about diet) or it could be post adrenaline fatigue or over hydration. Again, your personal trainer or the trainers at the gym should be able to advise you on a healthy diet and personal exercise regime that suits you.

If this a new reaction and you're a seasoned exerciser, you may want to have a chat with your GP. Thanks to something similar that started happening to me after working out in the gym, I had some blood tests and it turned out I had an overactive thyroid - I was able to exercise intensely but couldn't even shower and change into my daywear afterwards, I was that exhausted. Not saying this is a possible diagnosis for you, just that if this is a new post exercise experience, get it checked out.

Google "EIA, exercise induced asthma". Feeling SOB not during, but after exercise, is a classical symptom of EIA. However "unwell" is a broad term
