Waking up in the middle of the night tight chest and rib pains just cant breath struggle to get air in then i wake up mornings the same so frustrasted

Have you seen your GP? If not I would make an appointment ASAP.Night time wakening shouldn’t really be ignored.

If you can’t get to see or speak to your GP anytime soon, give 111 a ring and they can usually get you in at your normal practice.

In the meantime try propping yourself up at night to see if this helps.

The rib pain could be that you are using your auxiliary muscles because your breathing is poor. Your GP is best placed to advise.

Are you doing your BPD exercises as this will reduce dramatically. But yes consult your gp if concerned.
