Barts Severe Asthma Clinic

Anyone go here? My consultant is referring me there and just wondered what the place is like for asthma?

I'm under St Barts' Difficult Asthma Clinic. The consultants, physios etc. are great. The only problem I've had is that the admin system is up the creek. If you call the reception of Respiratory Medicine at St Barts they can check your details, appointments etc on their system. I wouldn't call the appointments centre as I had a very questionable experience with them.

Otherwise St Barts are good. You're in good hands with the team.

I'm supposed to go there, and I agree with LilsBaker2020 that the admin are awful. The consultant I saw was ok, the nurse was really lovely. They don't keep appointments properly, which I assume is due to the admin. Consultants didn't call when I had a phone appointment, and then they called when I didn't expect them to and I wasn't prepared. I had some biologics there for a few months and they were very attentive, but when I had an attack at the beginning of the year, they took me off the biologics and I've not been seen since. I have a phone appointment next month (if admin got it right).
